Pen Collecting, A Fine Art
People often forget that a major hobby in the United States is the collecting of pens. Pen collecting is an awesome hobby because it first puts forth a type of elegance. But second because it allows you to make more friends with people who may also have an interest in collecting them. Pens also are functional they are used everyday for important matters whether that be a note to that special someone or the signing of a legal document. There are many different types of pens to suite your tastes. Do you like more of a refined look? Then fountain pens are the way to go, how about you write a lot? You would then prefer a rollerball pen since its easier to write for longer periods. But if your creative and write on things other than paper you would go with a ballpoint pen. Finally, my favorite option to get the colonial feel is using a dip pen and an inkwell. This really is a conversation starter at work and always grabs some attention.
